Antonio “Tony” DaMaia was born in Washington, D.C., but spent most of his pivotal years in Sarasota, FL. He was a double major at Birmingham-Southern College where he earned his Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Economics. While at BSC, he was a student-athlete and a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was captain and manager of the tennis team and served as Scholarship and Philanthropy Chairs of his fraternity.
After graduating, Tony earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in Common Law and Certificates in Civil Law and Business and Entrepreneurship. During law school he worked almost full-time as a tennis coach and racquet stringer, two things he continues to enjoy today.
Tony is a member of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Louisiana, New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and American Bar Associations as well as a Fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.
Tony currently resides in New Orleans with his beautiful wife, Abbi DaMaia, son, Charlie, and their bulldog, Lulu.
