Emma K. Moppert
EMMA K. MOPPERT was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her B.A. in English from George Mason University, graduating magna cum laude with honors.
After graduating, Emma earned her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School and a Certificate in Civil Law. During law school, Emma was an active member of Tulane’s Moot Court program, earning among others, the awards of Best Oral Advocate – John R. Brown Appellate Admiralty Moot Court Competition, 1st Place – Tulane Intraschool Appellate Moot Court Competition, 1st Place – Southwest Regional BLSA Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition, and a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy.
She also served on the executive boards for Tulane Women in Law and the Moot Court Program.
Emma is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar. Her practice at Rabalais Unland focuses primarily on worker’s compensation defense and insurance defense litigation.
Emma currently resides in New Orleans, where she is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Young Lawyers’ Division and the Junior League of New Orleans. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and barre classes and spending time with her friends, family, and golden retriever, Huckleberry.
