Jeremy P. Lafleur
P. Jeremy Lafleur joined Rabalais Unland, LLP in 2021. Jeremy’s current focus is on insurance defense with an emphasis on workers’ compensation claims and general liability.
Jeremy began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Jefferson Parish, where he gained trial and litigation experience. He served as a Division Lead Prosecutor in Parish Court as well as the Juvenile Division. Jeremy also served as a Felony Family Violence Prosecutor. During his time with the D.A.’s Office, Jeremy was an instructor with Project L.E.A.D. as well as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
Jeremy spent over 10 years as a solo practitioner, representing injured workers and personal injury victims.
Jeremy was born in the Acadiana area, just north of Opelousas. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte and thereafter obtained a B.A. in Political Science at LSU. He attended Loyola University New Orleans where he received his Juris Doctorate.
Jeremy is admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association and is also a Notary Public.
Jeremy resides in Mandeville with his fiancé, Sarah, and his two children, Parker, and Gabrielle. Jeremy enjoys travel, cooking, and family time. He is also an avid supporter of LSU Sports and the New Orleans Saints.
