John Rabalais
JOHN JOSEPH RABALAIS was born in Sacramento, California. John obtained his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, cum laude, in 1987. He obtained his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law in 1990. He was also the recipient of the Recipient of Dean’s Medal for the highest overall GPA in his class. While in law school he served as the Associate Editor-Maritime Law Journal and Student Body President. He is a Member of American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and Louisiana Association Defense Counsel.
John is the managing partner of Rabalais Unland, LLP, where for over twenty years he has represented businesses and individuals in matters of personal injury, general liability, premises liability, toxic tort, state workers’ compensation, and in LHWCA and Jones Act matters. John has developed an expertise in handling and resolving difficult claims and provides training and insight in these skills across the country to employers and those in the insurance industry.
