Joseph Mouton
JOSEPH M. MOUTON, II has practiced in the areas of Commercial and Consumer Foreclosures and Collections, Creditor Bankruptcy Rights, Civil Litigation, Contract Disputes, Estate Planning, Corporation and Limited Liability Company Formation. His practice now focuses on insurance defense and worker’s compensation litigation.
Joseph obtained his bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, graduating cum laude, where he was a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. Thereafter, Joseph attended Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and graduated magna cum laude in 2014.
During law school, Joseph became a member of the Southern University Law Review and held the position of Executive Editor from 2013-2014. Joseph also earned the Chancellor’s Leadership Award in 2014. Joseph was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association in 2014 and was also admitted in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Louisiana in 2018.
